Riverina have secured the 2023-24 Men’s Plan B Country Bash title, defeating Greater Illawarra by 12 runs in a thrilling final at Artie Smith Oval, Bomaderry.

Riverina won the toss and captain Ben Mitchell would opt to bat. First drop, Nic Whitelaw dispatched 67 runs from 53 deliveries, sending nine shots to the boundary - three of which cleared the rope on the full.
Whitelaw’s innings would push Riverina to a first innings total of 7/156.
Hosts, Greater Illawarra, fell behind the required run-rate early and would ultimately finish 12-runs shy of their target, despite fantastic efforts from Kealen Blattner (43) and Bailey Abela (40).
Whitelaw was awarded the Player of the Match medal for his crucial knock.
