In a commanding display for Sydney in women’s second grade, Hayley Zauch carried her bat with a remarkable 125* off 139 against Campbelltown Camden. Zauch combined with Daisy Webster (49) for a 140-run partnership before the side went on to post 256 and pick up an eventual 140-run victory on their way to the semi finals.

Second ball – Davies Dazzles
In men’s first grade, Joel Davies came to the crease with Manly Warringah 3/5 after Raheem Abdul (Campbelltown Camden) had dismissed Ollie Davies (4) and Jay Lenton (0) with consecutive balls. Together with Ahillen Beadle, they put on a 204-run fourth wicket partnership – Beadle contributing 80 and Davies going on to finish with 155 off 190, including three sixes and 14 fours.
Third ball – St George-Sutherland Secure Semi Final Berth
St George-Sutherland have recorded a dominant 9-wicket win over Sydney to secure their spot in the women’s third grade semi finals. Emma Rollo and Helen Williams both claimed three wickets apiece, dismantling Sydney’s batting line-up and restricting them to a mere 61 runs. Despite losing opening batter and skipper Stephanie Gillett early, St George-Sutherland made quick work of the chase with Samantha Dillon (21*) and E’Ling Wong (33*) wrapping up the chase in just nine overs.

Fourth ball – Kahlon’s Fireworks
In a blistering display for St George in men’s third grade, Manraj Singh Kahlon smacked 98 from just 57 balls. Coming in at eight, Kahlon hit 11 fours and four sixes to power Sutherland to 313. In reply, Sutherland are 2/26 after 10 at stumps.
Fifth ball – Seven-Fer Stuns Sydney
Oscar Turner (Northern District) has delivered a masterclass in bowling, picking up a seven-fa in his fifth grade fixture against Sydney University. Turner collected opener Edward Shand for 16 before going on to claim the scalps of William Sutton (7), William Garske (12), Tushar Sharma (0) and Flinders Zhang-Langley (1). Willoughby Watson (57) and Lewis Ansell did their best to avoid the wrath of Turner, but they eventually fell to the same fate as those around them as Sydney University were bowled out for 194.
Sixth ball – Women’s First Grade Semi Finals Heat Up
Women’s first grade could see a huge injection to this weekend's finals fixtures, with several freshly crowned WNCL champions expected to make their return following the conclusion of the competition. Campbelltown Camden, Manly Warringah, St George-Sutherland and Sydney have all advanced through to the semi finals, with matches to take place on Sunday, March 9, starting at 10:00am as follows:

First ball – Toyer Takes 6
Sydney University’s Josh Toyer had a big weekend in men’s second grade against Northern District. Toyer picked up his 10th five-wicket haul in second grade, and his first since 2018-19 when he finished with 6-39 off his 16 overs. The spell sees Toyer’s club tally of second grade wickets stand at 242.
Second ball – Bankstown and Manly Warringah Set for Poidevin-Gray Showdown!
Bankstown and Manly Warringah will go head-to-head for the Poidevin-Gray Shield title on Sunday, after defeating Parramatta and Mosman in the semi finals.

Third ball – Menon’s Magic Spell
Aaryan Menon has delivered an extraordinary bowling display for Sydney University in men’s fourth grade, securing three wickets and conceding a mere two runs from seven overs. Northern District may come to regret electing to bat first, losing four wickets for just five runs – three of which belong to Menon, the other to Rex Greaves. In response, Uni are 7-164 at stumps.
Fourth Ball – Liddiard Smashes Career-Best
Penrith’s Tyran Liddiard has blasted a career-best score, amassing 171 runs for Penrith against Blacktown Mounties. Liddiard moves himself into the top 20 run scorers in first grade this season and inches closer to 10,000 career runs. Penrith went on to declare at 4d/403 after 85 overs, while Blacktown are 0/38 at stumps.
Fifth Ball – Sydney Clinch Women's Club Championship
Sydney have claimed the Women’s Club Championship, 27 points clear of second-placed Manly Warringah.

Sixth Ball – Brewer Shield Semi Finalists Set
Southern Stars and Manly Warringah have battled their way through the Brewer Shield elimination finals to secure their spot in the semi finals. Manly recorded a seven-wicket win over Penrith to progress, while the Swans scraped a nine-run win over reigning champions Greater Hunter Coast.
