The NSW Men’s team have been forced to make several changes to their squads for this week’s One-Day Cup (12/11) and Sheffield Shield (14-17/11) fixtures against South Australia.
Veteran Moises Henriques has withdrawn from both matches with groin soreness. One-Day Cup skipper Jack Edwards will lead the Sheffield Shield team in Henriques’ absence, becoming NSW’s 119th First Class captain.
Ryan Hadley, who had previously been named in the Shield squad will now also join the 13-player group for the ODC match, while Matt Gilkes will stay on following the ODC game and play the Shield fixture.
Josh Philippe has been added to the Australian squad for the T20 series against Pakistan and will play the ODC match before departing for international duty, missing the Shield fixture, where he has been replaced by the uncapped Lachlan Shaw.
