Metropolitan Competitions
Men's Metro Cup
Metro Cup is a hybrid competition with a mix of 50 over One-day fixtures and Two-day fixtures played across Saturdays or Sundays played on turf wickets. The competition is aimed as a participation and development competition to introduce players to longer forms of cricket as they progress out of local junior cricket filling the gap between local association cricket and Sydney Shires and NSW Premier Cricket.
The Competition was launched in 1997-98 and in recent seasons has been adopted as part of Cricket NSW Metropolitan Competitions.
Chappelow Cup
Chappelow Cup serves as a competitive 40-over turf wicket competition played exclusively on Sundays. It is aimed at developing players across the Metro Sydney area and providing opportunities to players who cannot compete in Saturday offerings.
