The Cricket NSW Youth Advisory Group is a group of 10 young leaders aged 14–21 from metropolitan and regional communities. The group brings together passionate players, umpires, coaches, and volunteers to provide fresh perspectives, ideas, and insights that help shape the future of cricket across New South Wales. Acting as a trusted sounding board, the group supports Cricket NSW by sharing diverse viewpoints and helping ensure the game continues to grow, connect communities, and inspire the next generation of players, volunteers, and fans.

Pennant Hills Cricket Club, Sydney Shires

“I'm a passionate young coach from the Blacktown community who has been involved in cricket for many years through both playing and coaching. Cricket has given me the opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, and I'm passionate about helping make the game more inclusive and accessible for everyone. Through the Youth Advisory Group, I'm excited to represent the voices of young cricketers and contribute ideas that support the future growth of cricket across NSW.”

“I've grown up in a cricket-loving family and have experienced the game across both country and metropolitan pathways, giving me a broad understanding of different cricket communities. Alongside playing premier cricket, I coach junior girls' representative teams and am passionate about supporting the development of young players and growing the women's game. Through the Youth Advisory Group, I'm excited to share my experiences, contribute diverse perspectives, and help shape opportunities for the next generation of cricketers across NSW.”

“I'm 14 years old and have been playing cricket since I started with Woolworths Cricket Blast at the age of 8. My cricket journey has taken me from club cricket with Seven Hills Toongabbie RSL to representative cricket with Parramatta, including the U13 Mollie Dive Shield, U15 Peden Shield and current U18 Brewers Shield squad. Cricket has helped me build teamwork, discipline and confidence, and I’m excited to use my experiences to represent young players and contribute to the future of cricket in NSW through the Youth Advisory Group.”

I’m passionate about ensuring young people have a voice in the future of the game and I am excited to represent regional players while contributing ideas to improve participation, pathways and engagement across NSW.”

I’ve had the opportunity to represent the Camden District Cricket Association, play senior cricket, and contribute off the field through fundraising and community initiatives. As a member of the Youth Advisory Group, I’m excited to advocate for better opportunities and access to cricket for young people in regional areas and Western Sydney.”
