Community Distinguished Service Award

Nominations for Season 2026-27 Community Distinguished Service Award are Opening Soon!

As a sport, cricket is grateful to have quality people who give so much time and expertise to provide opportunities for people to play and love cricket. For many, the sport becomes ingrained as part of their lifestyle, a commitment spanning many years and across many aspects of the game, on field and off field.

As such, in season 2024-/25, Cricket NSW launched the Community Distinguished Service Award, as a way to recognise those who have made long-standing contributions to cricket in New South Wales.

Since the award’s inception, 63 individuals from across the state have been recognised with the Cricket NSW Community Distinguished Service Award.
