Three potential Blues debutants picked for One-Day Cup opener

The Blues' Dean Jones Trophy defence campaign commences on Tuesday, September 22nd, with the reigning champions facing the Bulls at Brisbane's Allan Border Field before playing Victoria under floodlights at Junction Oval on Friday, September 25th. 

The uncapped trio of Bryce Jackson, Jake Scott and Riley Kingsell have been included in the squad, led by newly appointed captain Lachlan Shaw. 

Joel Davies was unavailable for selection due to international commitments, while Jack Edwards, Liam Hatcher, Josh Philippe and Sam Konstas are currently in the subcontinent preparing for the Australia A series against India A. 

Ryan Hadley, who suffered a lower back stress fracture during the pre-season, will undergo scans next month before a timeline for his return can be determined. 

The Blues' One-Day Cup matches against Queensland and Victoria both commence at 2pm AEST. Australian fans can stream the games on cricket.com.au, the CA Live app and Kayo Sports.
