Kingsgrove Sports extends longstanding partnership with Cricket NSW

Cricket NSW and Kingsgrove Sports have extended their long-standing partnership with a new multi-year agreement, reinforcing a relationship that has helped support cricket across New South Wales for decades.

The extension comes during a milestone year for Kingsgrove Sports as the business celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of service to the cricket community and the broader sporting landscape.

Under the renewed partnership, Kingsgrove Sports will continue as the naming rights partner of the NSW Premier T20 competitions while expanding its support of the Cricket NSW pathways system as naming rights partner of the AW Green Shield, Brewers Shield and Poidevin-Gray Shield competitions.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to developing the next generation of cricketers and strengthening the pathways that connect grassroots participation with the elite game.

For many years, Kingsgrove Sports founders Harry and Rohini Solomons have been generous supporters of cricket across New South Wales. Their contribution to clubs, competitions and emerging players has helped strengthen the game at all levels, leaving a lasting impact on the cricket community.

The extension further reinforces Cricket NSW's proud association with Kingsgrove Sports, a partnership built on shared values, a passion for the game and a long-standing commitment to supporting cricket's future.

Ben Hirschfeld, Cricket NSW Chief Commercial Officer, said:

"Kingsgrove Sports is Cricket NSW's longest-standing commercial partner, and we are delighted to extend a relationship that has played an important role in supporting cricket across New South Wales for many years.

"Harry and Rohini Solomons have made an enormous contribution to our game through their unwavering support of players, clubs and competitions, and we're incredibly grateful for the role they continue to play in helping cricket thrive.

"It is especially fitting to announce this extension during Kingsgrove Sports' 50th anniversary year. Reaching such a significant milestone is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the impact the business has had on generations of cricketers.

"We are proud of our longstanding association with Kingsgrove Sports and look forward to continuing our partnership as we work together to support the next generation of players and strengthen our pathways programs for years to come."

Harry and Rohini Solomons, Founders and Owners of Kingsgrove Sports, said:

“During our 50th anniversary year, it is with immense pleasure and pride that we have chosen to extend our long-standing sponsorship of Cricket NSW to include the Junior Pathways.

"We sincerely thank Cricket NSW and the wider cricket community for their support, patronage and friendship over so many years. Without this support, we would not have had the opportunity to give back to the community in the way we have.

"Cricket NSW has truly been a sponsor’s dream, and we greatly value the reciprocal support, partnership and friendship we have shared over the years.

"We are incredibly proud of our record as the longest-serving sponsor of Cricket NSW, and equally proud of our even longer association with women’s cricket in NSW and Australia.

"As we celebrate this significant milestone, we look forward to continuing our partnership and supporting the next generation of cricketers.”
