The NSW Breakers kick off their 2026/27 season with a rematch of last year’s WNCL final against reigning champions Queensland, with the women’s domestic cricket schedule for next summer revealed.
NSW Breakers' 2026/27 WNCL schedule confirmed
The Breakers and Fire, last season’s finalists, will battle it out at Cricket Central on September 29 and October 1 before players join their Big Bash clubs ahead of the T20 Spring Challenge and the WBBL.
Following trips to Canberra and Hobart in December and January respectively, the Breakers will host four WNCL matches in Silverwater throughout February, facing Victoria and South Australia.
The Breakers’ regular season concludes with two day-night matches against Western Australia in Perth, with the WNCL final scheduled for March 20.
Led by coach Peter Clarke and captain Lauren Cheatle, 21-time champions New South Wales will be hoping to win back the Ruth Preddy Cup, having previously lifted the coveted trophy in 2024/25.
Fixtures for the NSW Blues’ 2026/27 season, including all Sheffield Shield and One-Day Cup matches, were announced last week.
