NSW will be well represented at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup with three Blues named as part of Australia’s squad.
Blues trio picked for ICC Men's T20 World Cup
Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Adam Zampa have today been named by the Cricket Australia National Selection Panel (NSP) in a 15-player provisional squad for the upcoming ICC Men's World Cup to be played across India and Sri Lanka.
Pat Cummins returns to the squad having missed the most recent T20 series against India.
Australia's group-stage matches will all be played in Sri Lanka, before the squad will travel to India for at least some of the their Super Eights games.
A squad for the three game T20 Series against Pakistan which precedes the World Cup will be named at a later date.
Chair of Selectors George Bailey said:
"The T20 side has enjoyed a long run of recent success which enabled the panel to choose a balance of players across the variety of conditions Sri Lanka and India may present," said selection chair George Bailey.
"Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Tim David are tracking well and we are confident they will be available for the World Cup.
"This is a preliminary squad so should changes need to be made they will ahead of the support period."
All matches will be broadcast on Amazon's Prime Video
