Kurtis Patterson will become the sixth player to reach 100 Sheffield Shield games for NSW when he lines up for the Blues in their match against South Australia, starting tomorrow at the SCG.
Patterson named for 100th Shield match
The left-hand batter, who has scored 6009 Shield runs for the Blues and over 10,000 runs across all formats, headlines a 12-player squad for the fixture.
Will Salzmann returns to the side for the first time since his hamstring injury in round four, while Jack Edwards and Josh Philippe come back from the T20 tour of Pakistan.
If selected, Patterson's St George club mate Peter Francis would earn Baggy Blue #777.
Sean Abbott remains unavailable, continuing as a travelling reserve for the T20 World Cup.
The match gets underway at 10.30am each day, is free for spectators and can be seen live on Kayo and cricket.com.au
