NSW talent is front and centre in Australia’s multi-format squads to face India next month, with four stars selected and another earning a Governor-General’s XI call-up.
NSW Breakers locked in for India series
Ash Gardner, Alyssa Healy, Phoebe Litchfield and Ellyse Perry have today been named by the Cricket Australia National Selection Panel (NSP) in the squads to face India, while Anika Learoyd has been named in a 13-player Governor-General's XI squad to take on the visitors in a 20-over match at North Sydney ahead of the series.
Healy will captain Australia for the last time during the three ODIs and Test match, with all-rounder Gardner elevated to vice-captain across all formats.
The Governor-General's XI match will see some of Australia's promosing domestic stars face the one-day World Champions in a T20 fixture under lights at North Sydney Oval.
