Cricket fans in Goulburn and Wagga Wagga are in for a treat this pre-season, with one of Australia’s greatest spin bowlers, Nathan Lyon, hitting the road to help inspire the next generation of cricketers.
Cricket NSW, in partnership with local clubs, is be running a series of hands-on cricket clinics in both towns, giving participants the chance to learn the game from the grassroots up. Whether you’ve never picked up a bat or you’re already working on you’re bowling, these sessions will focus on learning the game, making strong friendships and most importantly, having fun on the field.
Alongside the clinics, each location will host an exclusive seminar where you can hear Nathan Lyon share his remarkable journey to over 500 Test wickets for Australia. Both he and his team will also talk about how he prepares physically and mentally for the demands of international cricket, offering insights that can benefit players of all ages and abilities.
This is a rare opportunity to train, learn, and be inspired by one of the game’s modern greats.
