NSW Players Headline Aussie U19 Squad

Yash Deshmukh, John James, Will Byrom, Kasey Barton and Alex-Lee Young will head to Queensland for the multi-format series which begins in September featuring three 50-over matches and two four-day matches.

All five players have consistently performed well at both representative and premier cricket level, with Deshmukh, James, Barton and Young all named as part of the Basil Sellers Emerging Player Program for 2025/26.

The National Under-19 Male Championships will be held in December, after which the final squad for the ICC U19 Men’s World Cup 2026 will be selected.
