School Holiday Cricket Clinics Across regional NSW!

For the first time this summer, Cricket NSW is partnering with the Department of Regional NSW (the Department) to host free school holiday cricket clinics!

These one-day clinics are offered free of cost in partnership with the Department at several locations across regional NSW.

Running from 9am to 3pm, the one-day clinics are designed for players aged 7-14 looking to develop their cricketing skills, with a variety of tailored drills, activities, and modified match play.

There are 12 regional clinics that will be conducted across NSW, starting January 10 and running through the summer holiday period.

The locations include Port Macquarie, Sawtell, Glen Innes and Quirindi in the north, and Goulburn, Bomaderry, Queanbeyan, and Albury in the south. There’s a clinic in Orange in the West on January 17, and one on the Central Coast, in Ourimbah, on January 18.

There will also be two girls-only clinics, the first at Cameron Park near Newcastle on January 19, and the second at Tamworth on January 28. In addition, Cricket NSW is hosting five clinics across Sydney in January.

The clinics will cater to a variety of skills levels and are an amazing opportunity to play and love the game during the holidays, promising to be as exciting for a child who wants to play cricket for the first time after watching Australia win the ICC World Cup, as it is for a little cricketer looking to transition from Cricket Blast to playing junior cricket at their local cricket club.

The clinics are also ideal for Stage 1 and Stage 2 cricket players looking to improve their batting, bowling or fielding technique through intensive coaching.

All clinics will feature experienced cricket coaches and Cricket NSW staff who will train players on improving their techniques. The players will receive a skills assessment at the end of the event.
