Cricket Central

The home of Cricket NSW has moved to one of Australia’s leading sporting precincts at Sydney Olympic Park. Our state-of-the-art, year-round, training and administration facility will see cricketers excel from grassroots to elite levels.

Cricket NSW opened their doors open to the public on Sunday, August 21 for the official opening of the state-of-the-art $60m Cricket Central facility at Wilson Park in Sydney Olympic Park.

The venue houses an International Cricket Council compliant oval, 15 indoor nets, including the majority that can be hired by the public, 43 outdoor turf lanes, a gym, 16 meeting rooms, outdoor terrace, amphitheatre, lecture theatre, Sports Science Sports Medicine facility including medical rooms, physio, rehab area, aquatic recovery and nutritionists and also the offices for CNSW’s administration.

Home to six professional teams, the NSW Breakers and Blues, Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers BBL and WBBL teams provides an opportunity for the community to come and see what a high-performance facility looks like and how it operates.

The venue’s first-class café, The Commons, provides for all our catering needs.

Crickets past is also acknowledged with our library housing a collection of books and memorabilia from the late 1800’s.

“Cricket Central, we believe, is the best cricket facility of its kind in the world and was years in the making with the support from all levels of government and all of our building partners,”

“While it’s the home for our elite players and staff, it is also very much the home for all of those who play and love cricket in the state. It’s a place that brings all of cricket's communities together."

So come and experience what a world-class high-performance facility can provide for your organisation’s next meeting or event.
