The chase for finals positions and a date with destiny at the SCG hots up this Sunday as round one of the Women's Regional Bash continues.

The Northern lnland Bolters are at home to Central Coast Rush in the only match this weekend.

Central Coast skipper Tiegan Kavanagh has warned her Central Coast team against looking too far ahead when they take on Northern Inland Bolters in the Sixers Pool 2 clash at Scone on Sunday.

The winner books a seat to next year's final at the SCG.

"We'd absolutely love the chance to play in a final at the SCG but our sole focus is on this game," Kavanagh said.

"We can't afford to look at the big picture before we look at this game.

"You've got to win this one first."

Kavanagh will lead a team featuring a nice mix of youth and experience but admits she doesn't know a great deal about her opposition.

She said: "There are a couple of familiar names there and a few I've followed through the juniors, and I'm sure they will put a good side.

"We are expecting a very tough game."
