On Australia Day this year, the Wandering Warriors will play its second annual Memorial Warrior Cup in aid of assisting returned Special Forces soldiers.
Established in 2013, Wandering Warriors is a fundraising initiative providing support to returning Special Forces soldiers transitioning back into civilian life.
The Memorial Warrior Cup, to be played on Australia Day at Reg Bartley Oval in Rushcutters Bay, is the second now annual match between the Warriors’ East and West members. Entry is free and the public are welcome to attend.
The match helps raise exposure and donations for the returned servicemen and women which goes towards educations, employment, mentoring and respite for veterans.
