The summer of cricket officially came to an end at Raby Sports Complex in Campbelltown on Monday completing five days of cricket for a select number of emerging Under 16 and Under 19 female cricketers.

On Thursday and Friday, the NSW Metropolitan and ACT/NSW Country Under 16 teams played two T20s and a 50-over match with Metro winning all three matches.

Across the next three days, a combined Under 19 NSW XI, including a number of players playing above their age level, played a South Australian Under 19 squad in four T20s and a 50-over fixture.

South Australia won three of the four T20s with the NSW Under 19s winning the One Day match by 12 runs on Saturday. Shivani Mehta impressed with 66 not out in the win.

In their first opportunity to play some competitive cricket as Under 16 squads, numerous players impressed including Kate Pelle (ACT/NSW Country), Kinjal Kumari (Metro) and Frankie Nicklin (Metro) with the bat as well as bowlers Sienna Eve (ACT/NSW Country) and Sara Chun (Metro).
