- The Blues are seeking to defend their title and go back-to-back for the first time since the 1993/94 season.

- NSW have lost only three of their last 14 Sheffield Shield matches outside their home state.

- Sean Abbott has hit 20 sixes during this season’s Sheffield Shield which is the most by any player in the campaign and seven more than any other player.

- Trent Copeland has the highest dot ball percentage (83%) of any player to bowl at least 150 overs in the 2020/21 Sheffield Shield.
