Both McDonald's Women's Premier Cricket grand final sides head into Sunday's re-scheduled decider grateful for the forced delay and in a stronger position than a week ago.

Version one of the Sydney and Northern District grand final was cancelled thanks to Sydney's big wet.

We go around again on Sunday at Bankstown Oval – this time under forecast clear skies.

The Women's First Grade Grand Final is live streamed via the NSW Premier Cricket Match Centre

NDs skipper Kirsten Smith said: "With the grand final being pushed back a week, it means our contracted players Lauren Smith, Anika Learoyd and Matilda Lugg all come back into the side.

"And last week, Holly Simmons from Coffs Harbour couldn’t drive to Sydney because of the floods, so it has all worked out in the end.

"We couldn't be more excited to play thanks to the reserve day."

Sydney gets match-winner Sammy –Jo Johnson back and may make a couple of further changes just before the toss.

"It's great to see good weather forecast and our guys are really eager to get on the field after a couple of weeks off," captain Gizelle Plummer said.

"Both sides have worked really hard to get here and it should be a great game."

A quick look at the stats indicates batting holds the key to the outcome.

Kirsten Smith, Learoyd and Alisha Bates have all scored heavily for the Rangers, while runs have flowed from the bats of Sydney trio Kira Churchland, Jodie Hicks and Naomi McDonald.

Bates also looms as a danger with the ball, claiming 15 wickets for the season.

Nell Bryson-Smith is Sydney's go-to bowler, with the clever Ananaya Sharma a constant threat.

It will be an emotional decider whatever the result, held just four years after both sides were forced to merge due to a lack of numbers.

The game gets under way at 10am and will be live streamed for the first time with multi-cameras and commentary. The Women's Under 18 Brewer Shield will also be live streamed via the match centre.

Manly-Warringah host Sydney in the Women's Second Grade Grand Final on Sunday. All three Grand Finals - First Grade, Second Grade and Brewer Shield - were rescheduled to this Sunday due to the wet weather last week.
