Gage Roads Brew Co, one of the country’s leading independent brewers, will become the beer of summer for Cricket NSW, Sydney Sixers and NSW Premier Cricket for the next two years.
The independent brewery that has created such iconic ales, lagers and ciders as Single Fin Summer Ale, Pipe Dreams Coastal Lager, Side Track All Day XPA and Hello Sunshine Cider will be the drop of choice at cricket fields all over NSW.
Single Fin, their flagship beer, continues to be one of the fastest growing beers around the country.
Gage Roads will enjoy exclusive pourage at CNSW and Sydney Sixers events, become the preferred supplier and hold signage rights at all NSW Premier Cricket clubs, along with digital and activation rights across several of CNSW’s suite of brands.
“Gage Roads is stoked to partner with Cricket NSW and become the beer of summer for cricketers and fans across the state,” says Dan Moraday, Gage Roads Brew Co National Account Manager.
“Gage Roads is proudly independent, and we’re excited to throw our support behind the game in New South Wales, from the grassroots up.
“There’s nothing like a beer at the cricket. Our range of brews are refreshing, full flavoured and the perfect partner for summer days.”
Ben Hirschfeld, CNSW GM Commercial Experience, said cricketers were always looking for perfect partnerships and this was exactly that for CNSW.
“The good times will roll right around the state this summer with Gage Roads Brew Co as the beer of summer across Cricket NSW, the BBL champion Sydney Sixers and our massive NSW Premier Cricket network,” Hirschfeld said.
“We love Gage Roads’ commitment to family and community and their desire to be a world class brewery, just as we strive to become a world class organisation.
“Cricket NSW has a long and rich history and Gage Roads Brew Co are writing their own story that will be told for many years to come. We are grateful we can be part of it.”
After a great start to the millennium, Gage Roads is looking forward to the future. And its next project will take the brewery full circle. Gage Roads is currently building its spiritual home, overlooking the stretch of water that originally inspired the brewery. The venue at Fremantle’s iconic A Shed will include a micro-brewery, restaurant, bar and much more. The team can’t wait to throw the doors open in summer 2021/22.
