Two squads of 13 players have been named to represent NSW Metropolitan and ACT/NSW Country at the Under 15 Female National Championships in Canberra during late February and early March.

Wicketkeeper-batter Elsa Hunter, 14, has been selected for Metro after debuting for the Malaysian Women's team earlier this year at just 13.

Four reserves have also been named for each squad.

The NSW Metro squad includes four players that won the Under 15 title last season in Canberra, defeating ACT/NSW Country in the Final, including captain Lauren Kua.

The three other players who were part of the Metro team last season are Olivia Maxwell, Frankie Nicklin and Ella Briscoe.

ACT/NSW Country have named an entirely new squad to the one that made the Final last season with four players selected from the Riverina region.

Grace Lyons will captain ACT/NSW Country.
