Cricket Australia, in partnership with State and Territory Cricket Associations and the Australian Cricketers’ Association, is committed to developing high quality facilities that provide a welcoming environment for all players, officials, volunteers and fans. This commitment is supported by the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF).

The ACIF provides funding for community cricket facility projects that aim to improve the quality and quantity of playing and practice facilities and related amenities across the state, with a focus on growing participation and promoting accessibility and inclusiveness.

Given the significant worldwide impact of the Coronavirus, Cricket Australia is currently reviewing all aspects of its financial position.

As such, ACIF grants have been put on hold across all states, including Round 2 of the ACIF which was due to open for applications in New South Wales today, Monday 30 March.

We want to ensure that in managing this period of uncertainty we strongly support cricket community to rebound quickly and be prepared for the next season. Supporting the cricket community is a key priority for us, and we want to ensure we can do it well, and for as long as we can.

Cricket NSW will provide further updates on when the grants may resume.
