After 16 first-grade seasons in the Green and Gold of Randwick Petersham, Adam ‘Sempie’ Semple has hung up the boots.

Semple leaves the NSW Premier Cricket Competition a hero having etched his name into the Randwick Petersham history books by winning the Belvidere Cup in 2019-20, the First-Grade Limited Overs Cup in 2020-21, and the Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup in the most recent 2021-22 season.

It is an achievement in itself to play first-grade for Randwick Petersham. A consistently dominant NSW Premier Cricket outfit that has produced the likes of David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Simon Katich, Nathan Hauritz, Jason Sangha and Daniel Sams.

It is an even greater achievement to play 16 consecutive first-grade seasons and hold the following club records:

- Most games for the club (310) and in first-grade (309)

- Most runs for the club (6,629) and in first-grade (6,505)
