Trailing by 276 runs at the start of the day’s play, an unbeaten 80 from Jack Hancock helped guide the hosts home with a day and bit of play still remaining.
Tasmania’s 4-316 was the largest total of the match eclipsing the 225 set by ACT/NSW Country on day two.
The ACT/NSW Country attack was unable to repeat their feats from earlier in the match when they dismissed Tasmania for 87.
Tom Pinson was the leading wicket taker with 2-33, while Jonathan Cook (1-36) and Joe Kershaw (1-72) each made a solitary breakthrough.
Nathan McAndrew, who took an extraordinary 5-30 in the first innings, was unable to add to his tally finishing with figures 0-78 in the second innings.
