Cricket NSW in partnership with Cricket Australia is delighted to announce that Round 1 of the 2021/22 Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF) will open at 9.00am on Monday 11 October.
Clubs, associations, schools, councils, and cricket facility managers can all apply for community cricket facility projects that focus on growing participation and promoting accessibility and inclusivity.
The ACIF offers minor and major grants (of up to $30,000) for shovel-ready projects that aim to increase cricket participation, and which best demonstrate a partnership approach to funding with other clubs, sporting codes and all levels of government.
Last year, the ACIF awarded almost $1.4 million in grants to 39 projects with a total cost of approx. $18.3 million. Cudgen Cricket Club (featured above) received a new four-lane cricket practice facility with junior format crease markings as the result of a collaborative effort between the Club, NSW Government’s ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Cricket Legacy Fund, Tweed Shire Council, and the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund.
Those interested in applying are strongly encouraged to read the 2021/22 ACIF Guidelines and eligibility requirements carefully, and contact their local Cricket NSW representative to discuss their project.
Applications close at 11.59pm on Sunday 14 November 2021.
