Regional women’s cricket takes centre stage in Goulburn and the Central Coast

Some of regional NSW’s most talented female cricketers will be in action this weekend as the Country Plan B Female Regional Bash heads to Goulburn and the Central Coast on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 November.

The competition will feature two pools, with three T20 fixtures played in each location across two days of high-quality cricket. The event showcases the growing depth of regional women’s cricket and the strong development pathways supporting female players across the state.

The tournament is proudly supported by the Central Coast Cricket Association and the Goulburn and Crookwell Cricket Association, whose ongoing commitment to regional cricket continues to create valuable opportunities for players and communities.

Regional Cricket Board Chair Paul Majoribanks said the event highlights the strength and spirit of the women’s game in country NSW.

“The Country Plan B Regional Bash (Female) is a fantastic showcase of the depth of talent across our regional communities.

These players embody the passion, teamwork, and resilience that make country cricket so special. We’re proud to provide a platform that celebrates their achievements and inspires the next generation of female cricketers.”

Goulburn Mulwaree Council Mayor Nina Dillon said she was delighted to welcome the event to the region.

“On behalf of Goulburn Mulwaree Council, I’m thrilled to welcome the players, officials and supporters of the Women’s Plan B Regional Bash to Goulburn.

It’s fantastic to see elite women’s cricket showcased in our city. I wish all teams the very best and encourage everyone visiting to take the time to explore and enjoy all that the Goulburn region has to offer.”
