Players from regional NSW have the opportunity to compete in the following representative carnivals run by Country Cricket NSW. The eight Country zones represented are the ACT Southern Districts, Central Coast, Central Northern, Greater Illawarra, Newcastle, North Coastal, Riverina and Western zone.

Regional Bash

The Men's Plan B Regional Bash and NSW Women's Regional Bash are the showcase T20 tournaments for Country cricketers in NSW.

Sixteen teams, representing all points of Country NSW, compete for the Plan B Regional Bash title. The 16 are divided into four pools of four teams.

The leading team in the two Northern Pools play off in the Sixers Conference Final with the top team in each of the Southern and Western Pools to meet in the Thunder Conference Final. The winner of each Final competes to be Regional Bash champion.

The Women's Regional Bash follows a similar format with eight teams competing for the title.

Two conferences of four teams are formed. The top two teams in the Sixers and Thunder Conference play off for a spot in the NSW Women’s Regional Bash Final.

For those teams who qualify for Finals - Conference and Grand Final - it presents Country cricketers with the unique opportunity to play at elite level venues such as the hallowed SCG and North Sydney Oval.
