Making it easier for players, parents, coaches and administrators to deliver cricket in their communities.

Getting Started with PlayHQ

Australian Grassroots Cricket Digital Transformation

Australian Cricket has partnered with PlayHQ to build a modern, intuitive, cloud-based platform for community Clubs and Competitions across Australia.

The new platform will help with the core jobs of registration, payments, competition management and scoring.

Other complementary software solutions will be able to ‘plug-in’ (integrate) with PlayHQ to build a broader suite of Club and Competition management tools.

PlayHQ is the first step in the transformation of the digital experience for Australian grassroots cricket. The transition from MyCricket to PlayHQ is being carefully managed over a staged process between January 2021 and January 2024.

All Cricket NSW affiliated organisations will transition from MyCricket to PlayHQ in season 2022/23.

PlayHQ Club and Association Training

PlayHQ Training Overview:

The community learning journey offers volunteers multiple opportunities to learn how do the core jobs of registration, payments, competition management and electronic scoring in PlayHQ. In addition, the training pathway will provide Clubs and Associations the ability to learn more about integrated features including Wix (for websites) and Mailchimp (for email communication).

Cricket Australia Training:

Cricket Australia is delivering a national webinar series as part of the National Clubroom Series. This is split into separate Association and Club webinars. This includes over 100 sessions available to book online available between May and October 2022.

Cricket NSW Training:

Cricket NSW understand that local competitions open registrations at various times across July to September.

Therefore, we have developed a Three-Phase Training Plan, which enables Associations and Clubs to engage with the national training program at a time and by a means that best suits their volunteers.

To compliment PlayHQ training offered by Cricket Australia, CNSW will be offering Face-to-face training sessions on a needs-basis across NSW. Please use this link to see the sessions that are currently available and to book your place. Note: there is no change in the content delivery from the webinar-based training.
