Western Australia has taken day one honours in its Toyota Futures League clash with ACT/NSW Country thanks to centuries from William Bosisto and Clinton Hinchcliffe.

The hosts finished day one in a commanding position amassing 353 runs for the loss of only three wickets.

ACT/NSW Country began the match in a promising fashion, with Tom Pinson snaring the wicket of Josh Phillipe who was caught and bowled for 31.

Nathan McAndrew claimed the wickets of Nick Hobson and Josh Inglis with the home side in trouble at 3-83.

It would be all WA from that point on with Bosisto (182 not out) and Hinchcliffe (119 not out) piling on the runs to leave their side in a strong position on day one.
