Cricket NSW, in partnership with Blacktown DCA, hosted a Gala Day last Sunday (August 12) at Blacktown International Sportspark.

Around 150 hearty souls braved the icy winds to get to the venue and once they arrived, they were more than happy to find the activities taking place in the Cricket NSW Indoor Practice Centre!

Peter Nevill from the NSW SpeedBlitz Blues was a guest at the event, along with three players from the Blacktown Grade Cricket Club. They all assisted the staff from the Cricket NSW Game Development Department to conduct a range of skills, drills and modified games for the children.

Clubs from the association were present on the day, answering questions from interested parents and taking registrations for the upcoming season.
