Al-Faisal College taking part in the School Heroes Program

For the last two months, the Greater Western Sydney (GWS) Game Development team has been conducting a “School Heroes Program” for the Year 7 and Year 8 girls at Al-Faisal College, a K-12 Islamic School that was opened in 1998.

The girls participated in a five week program with great enthusiasm, thoroughly enjoying what was the first cricket experience for most of them.

At the conclusion of the program, the Year 8 girls entered into a local Islamic Schools Cricket Gala Day where they finished second.

The college has also entered the Year 5/Year 6 MILO T20 Blast School Cup for the first time this year, with the competition to take place in Term 3.

After the success of this initial program, the College is planning on booking more School Heroes Programs throughout the year.
