Cricket4Kids is a not-for-profit organisation that collects used cricket equipment from clubs around Australia and distributes it overseas to children in underprivileged circumstances. To date, they have collected and distributed over two tonnes of equipment to 14 countries.

This year, they are proud to announce Cricket4Kids' expansion of equipment collection across Australia. Thanks to the generous support of Storage King, they now have collection points in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Hobart.

Cricket NSW is delighted to be partnering with Cricket4Kids to assist them with their 2012 Campaign throughout April in metropolitan Sydney.

2012 in 2012 Campaign

With the aim of doubling their collection this year, Cricket4kids is launching its 2012 in 2012 Campaign designed to collect and ship 2012 kilograms of equipment in 12 months.

As your club closes down, packs up and cleans up for the season, they will happily accept any equipment that you may want to clear out. Many of your players will also have equipment lying around at home that could have a second life.

Any equipment in reasonable condition will be happily collected. Items they particularly appreciate include bats, balls and stumps. They do receive a large amount of batting pads, so they only ask for pads that are in good condition.

All equipment collected will go to underprivileged children overseas or in NSW.

For further information please see the website: www.cricket4kids.org, or email info@cricketnsw.com.au to discuss the equipment collection process.

Cricket NSW and Cricket4Kids thanks you for your support and we look forward to achieving the goal of 2012 kilograms of equipment this year.
