City of Ryde and Pirates Cricket Club Charity Day

Hosted by the Mayor of the City of Ryde in partnership with the Ryde Hunters Hill Pirates Cricket Club, a “Mayor’s Big Bash” will be held as part of the City of Ryde and Pirates Cricket Club charity day. The day will be on Sunday 4 March 2012 from 9am til 2pm at Ryde Oval, Ryde Park, Princess St, Ryde.

The main attraction of the day will be a cricket match between the Mayor’s XI and the Ryde Hunters Hill Pirates CC, which will raise funds to help build Livvi’s Place, a playground for children of all abilities in Yamble Reserve, Ryde.

The Mayor’s XI will include an all-star line-up that includes former sportstars and actors, such as former Australian cricket Greg Matthews, NSW Waratah Lachie Turner, Actor Jay Laga’aia, Home and Away stars Lisa Gormley & Lincoln Younes plus many more!

The day will also include a barbeque and entertainment for the kids along with Free Activate Cricket sessions on the day.
