Four up and coming young talents from the Lendlease Breakers have been named in the CAXI to take on England in three matches as part of the preparations for the upcoming Commonwealth Bank Women’s Ashes.

For Nicola Carey, Naomi Stalenberg, Rachel Trenaman and Belinda Vakarewa, all named in the squad, this gives them an opportunity to test themselves against the number one team in the world while getting some valuable time in the middle during the WNCL break.

Speaking on the selection of the CAXI, Female High Performance Coach and previous Lendlease Breakers Assistant Coach, Leah Poulton said, “To have a CAXI included in this series is really exciting.”

“Opportunities like this ensure we continue to develop the players capable of representing Australia in the future and adding to the depth of talent in Australian cricket.”
