ACT/NSW Country has fallen short against WA with the visitors dismissed for 213 on the final day.

ACT/NSW Country were set an unlikely target of 465 runs to win following an unbeaten 119 (114 balls) from Tim David in WA’s second innings.

Blake McDonald top scored for ACT/NSW Country with 42 (65 balls) with most other batsmen failing to convert their starts.

Jay Lenton, who was unbeaten on 76 in the first innings, was unable to repeat his feats with the bat making 16 in the second innings.

The loss sees ACT/NSW Country slip to fourth on the Futures League ladder following its round one draw with NSW Metro in October.

ACT/NSW Country will face second-placed South Australia in round three at Woodville Oval with the match beginning on 20 November.
