HK&HDCA are pleased to announce the list of 24 players selected to make up the two squads in each of the under 14, 15 and 16’s age groups (see squad lists in Library).
It should be noted that whilst the representative teams have been tentatively selected, the squads listed are in no particular order.
It is intended that a full day trial match be conducted on Sunday, 9th August.  The purpose of this match is to watch for individuals that have further developed with a view to some possible fine-tuning of the selected teams.  After the completion of this trial match the final teams will be announced.  You will be emailed with the details of this match at a later date.  Should weather preclude the trial match then teams will be announced after 23 August.  It should be noted that players who were unable to attend the 1st and 2nd trial in May and have supplied a Doctors Certificate, or players that are moving associations and have preformed highly at Rep level will be included in the August trial.
If you seek personal feedback on your performance, please contact the respective age convener.
Once again we would like to thank all players and selectors who attended the trials.

One of the highlights of the HK&HDCA representative cricket calendar is the annual U/15 Ross Turner Cup match, featuring the best 24 U/15 cricketers in the district in a showcase East v. West one-day match (50 overs maximum per side).
This important match has been played for the past decade and is expertly organised by Tom Richmond OAM (HK&HDCA Life Member).   It is named after Ross Turner, former legendary First Grade premiership captain at Northern District CC.
A feature of this match is the selection of some of the leading younger players from the U/13 and U/14 age groups to pit their skills against the strong U/15 Weblin Shield players.
This year’s match will be held on Sunday, 1st March at Parklands Oval, Mt Colah, commencing at 10.00am.
The appointed umpires are Bruce Wood (HK&HDCA Umpires’ Secretary) and Geoff Hasler (HK&HDCA Senior Vice-President).
The players will be wearing complimentary embroidered shirts, courtesy of HK&HDCA sponsor, Kookaburra Sports.
The selected teams are as follows:
EAST:  Josh Miller (Capt), Mark Belcastro, Chris Easy, Lachlan Ford, Isaac George, Stuart Hastings, Kyle Jefferys, James Madden, Thomas Marriott, Guy Seymour, Luke Thorburn & Luke Tobin.
WEST:  Daniel Anderson (Capt), James Baee, Scott Copperfield, Ashane DeSilva, Shaun Eaton, Sam Every, Connor Jackson, Anjan Oberai, Sid Sethi, Lachlan Skulander, Utkarsh Somaiya & Alex Rashleigh.
