Sydney will see a host of International cricket during next summer's Ashes Tour. With Cricket Australia revealing a full schedule for season 2010-11, cricket fans in Sydney will have plenty of choice.
The first International action of the summer will see Australia take on Sri Lanka in a 50-over Commonwealth Bank Series match at the earlier date of Friday 5th November. Three matches will comprise this mini-series against Sri Lanka, along with a Twenty20 fixture.
Next comes the five-match 3 Mobile Test Series that will see the Sydney Test start on Monday 3rd January, 2011.
This will be followed by 50-over Commonwealth Bank Series fixtures against England on Sunday 23rd January and Wednesday 2nd February 2011.
In addition to a host of Domestic cricket that will include the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash, the RTA SpeedBlitz Blues will also play a one-day match and Twenty20 fixture against the touring Sri Lankans on 24th October and 27th October 2010 respectively.
