Coffs Harbour District Cricket Association Inc is one of four associations forming the North Coast Cricket Council on the northern NSW coast. During the 2007/08 season the association had nine clubs participating in four competition grades in what is considered the premier competition on the North Coast.
The competition will commence on October 11 2008. Games will be played on a combination of turf and synthetic pitches in an area bounded by Dorrigo situated 70 kilometres southwest , Nana Glen (30 km west) and Woolgoolga (Woopi) 20 kilometres to the north of our city.
A total of nine turf wickets, including High Street, Woolgoolga and the Coffs Coast Sport & Leisure Park, are expected to be used be used this season allowing all first and second grade fixtures to be played on curated wickets.
The association representative teams have enjoyed much success in the last couple of seasons, with the first XI succesfully retaining the premiership trophy in the final of the North Coast Cricket Council interdistrict competition. The association reached the final 8 of the SCG Country Cup in 2005/06 and the round of 16 last season before finishing equal ninth defeating Maitland by five wickets in the fifth round.
The Coffs Harbour District Cricket Association, in conjunction with the Coffs Harbour District Junior Cricket Association, will again host the Bradman Cup in January 2009.
