2008/09 Season


The Wyong and District Cricket Association was formed in the 1912/1913 season.

The Gosford District Cricket Association was formed on 23 October 1920.
On 6 August 1970 amalgamation took place of the two above Associations which became known as Gosford & Wyong District Cricket Association.

On 30 June 1995 the name changed to Central Coast Cricket Association, however the name of the local Competition retained the name of Gosford & Wyong District Cricket Association Competition.

On 30 July 2004 the local Competition changed its name to CENTRAL COAST CRICKET ASSOCIATION COMPETITION.

The current Competition consists of twelve Clubs (listed on right hand side of this Home page)with 8 grades.

Developing sustainable womens' cricket competitions at a regional level will be a focus for the eight Country Cricket Zones this summer.

The recent Country Cricket Zone Administrators' meeting at Cootamundra examined strategies and programs that could lead to the establishment womens cricket competitions within the zones.

The eight Country Cricket Zones will review their logos over the next three months with a view to bringing them into line with the marketing logo of CricketNSW and Cricket Australia. All Zones will examine incorporating the theme of their current logo into the shield-style recently adopted by CricketNSW and consistent with the marketing direction of Cricket Australia
